Educational Resources
The best resources for your child are those materials which take into account your child’s learning style, temperament, and possible learning disability. Given the ever-changing technological, science and engineering landscape students need more than just a standard classroom education. Homeschooled students, especially those educated in the classical, college preparatory, Montessori, Waldorf, and even eclectic style gear their students for critical thinking and academic success. Children educated in public schools can also make remarkable strides with some strategic sources.

Here is just a bit of what I recommend:
- Access to an online tutor in the area your child is struggling. This is especially true of reading, writing, and math. These are core subjects and your child should get help early, if he or she struggles n these areas.
- Your child should be reading every day, and commenting on their reading, Collegiate Learning has a reading journal used for young people to recall the details of a story.
- Your child should be taught study skills, Do not assume that the school has, or will teach your child study skills. There are online classes that teach study skills.
- English language learners should read widely , and watch public broadcast shows, or recommended television shows to learn idioms, They should also work with native speakers.
- Students should write regularly and receive commentary on their writing. Improvement is best achieved by revision.
